That is absolutely mind boggling! Just wish I had a few million and a large warehouse at my disposal!

To be honest, a lot of this stuff isnt going to make much (in comparison to its cost/retail value) the last clearance sale they did when BH first closed had a number of bargains.

Well worth a speculative bid on some of the stuff - be aware of the Buyers Premium and VAT though

I imagine most of this stuff will be bought by dealers, who will sell it on to the pro and semipro markets (RSLs, hospital and student stations, colleges, third world broadcasters etc).

Somebody please remind me why I need a Cintel Mk.3? It's been on my shopping list since about 1988, I suppose it was almost current then but it's in the vintage equipment section now. I really need to un-see the catalogue.

You have cine to DVD service adverts on traffic roundabout posts and you're expecting orders any month now?

A word of warning, the premium and VAT add 40% to the bid price. Also read the T&C, they can run the bids up, so never leave a high bid on anything, you have to sit there hour after hour and bid on each lot. Only bid serious money no earlier than 3 minutes to ending, at the point where the time drops under 3 minutes all the hidden saved bids are added in. I find it irritating that you can't leave a £100 bid, and get it for £30 if the next bid is only £28, but you will pay either £98 or £100. Try bidding on one of several similar items all with no bids at the 2 minute time, and watch your lot get outbid by the automatic bidding computer, no bid on the other, cheaper, lots. All in their T&C, just be aware of what it means. I have bought lots from PP, but it does get really tedious waiting for the lots to come up.

PS The catalogue can be downloaded now.
