Default Ekco T283 TV on Ipswich Freecycle.

Just spotted this on Ipswich Freecycle.

Quote:
I have available a very old TV which could be from the 1950's or 1960's. The wooden case has woodworm and has been eaten away in places but otherwise looks complete. The details on the cabinet are:

Ekco Vision
Type: T.283
For A.C. or D.C. Mains
200/250 Volts
160 Watts
Product of E.K. Cole Ltd, Southend-On-Sea, England
If you want it you'll need to join Freecycle and be able to collect from the IP1 postcode area.

Hi Graham,
Is this on Freecycle or the Freegle/IpswichRecycle network, please? I'm on the latter but can't find the TV.
Thanks
Graham

Follow the link I posted a then then select in turn "Find a group", "East" and "Ipswich Recycle". You'll need to join to do a search.

The ad is dated 6 August.

Hi Graham, thanks for the date. As I wrote, I'm on IpswichRecycle. I spotted it in the Digest of 7th August.
I've now emailed the TV owner so here's hoping!
Thanks again
Graham
