Default T50-2 Toroids?

Hello all,

Were can I buy T50-2 Toroids? Several sites have toroids, but not with that designation. I don't want to use ebay or buy from abroad.

Thanks

Aub

Made by micrometals inc of Anaheim, California if you want data direct from the source

The G-QRP club stock them. Advert on the back page of "Sprat", or else try Jabdog.com

The Amateur radio fraternity call them Amidon toroids. Bill Amidon is a retailer in the US (Otsego street hollywood) and puts them in his catalogue with slightly different type numbers.

You would have. Bill Amidon was a good retail outlet and got made well known by the QRP-ARCI gang. Soon all American QRP radio designs seemed to feature 'Amidon toroids'

The Ferrite parts he sells come from 'Fair-rite inc' of Wallkill in the state of Noo Joisey. if you want to find original manufacturer data.

Both Micrometals and Fair-Rite have rather large minimum order quantities, so the retailers do a valuable job.
