Re: Converting RF TV to direct Video and Audio
Hi Some of these HDMI converters seem to be set to 61.25 Mhz this is the USA standard for modulators Ch 3. I have not seen any of them say it can be set to UHF unless I have miss it?

Re: Converting RF TV to direct Video and Audio
Mine arrived today and yes it has a 61.25Mhz RF output. A solution might be the Labgear TELE-VERTA. VHF in and UHF out.

Re: Converting RF TV to direct Video and Audio
The attachment shows the HDMI to RF converter connected to the Decca DR101 via the Labgear Tele-Verta.

Re: Converting RF TV to direct Video and Audio
I read that Labgear Tele-Vertas were common at one time in towns with a VHF analogue cable system so viewers could connect a single standard set.
I think the network in Stevenage used them.

Re: Converting RF TV to direct Video and Audio
Is the sound 6, 5.5, or user selectable?

Re: Converting RF TV to direct Video and Audio
Using the remote control it's possible to select Systems B, I and DK, each having 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5Mhz sound spacing respectively. Also NTSC with 4.5Mhz. Pity it doesn't have an UHF output though. Not sure about System L, will check that out later this evening.

Re: Converting RF TV to direct Video and Audio
This evening the HDMI to RF converter and the Televerta were connected to the GEC 2028 dual standard colour TV set.
Without any HDMI input the converter generates colour bars. The 2028 needs looking at sometime. DFWB. |

Re: Converting RF TV to direct Video and Audio
The HDM68 modulator says it will take an
HDMI input and convert it to a VHF or UHF channel with sound carrier selectable. https://www.ebay.com/itm/HDM68-Modul....c100930.m5375 |
