Default Sony PS-5520

Hi

I'm new to this forum, I do repair/restore hifi.

Currently I have a Sony PS-5520 which needs a new capacitor, MPCON - M, CEMC-2A 105,

Rated 1uf 250w, VA.c

Could someone please advise on the correct capacitor or replacement to complete repair.

Regards
Pete

Hi

Thank you for your reply.
The cap in question is an axial type, 42mm x 18mm

It's an inline cap fitted to mains power supply.
Thank you

The one in the link should work if there's enough room.

Hi Lawrance

I was concerned that the cap being an axial type maybe specific as the other cap you advised and have brought x2 safty cap is much smaller.
