Re: Domestic plugs & sockets
Cool, now I know that the cable I have not been able to find is CEI 23-50 to clover leaf (to plug my laptop into hotel rooms in Italy that don't have the European sockets.)

Re: Domestic plugs & sockets
Digressing slightly,
We lived in Manchester in the 60s. Wylex plugs and sockets were pretty common locally in those days, they were in our flat. https://www.plugsocketmuseum.nl/Wylex1.html |

Re: Domestic plugs & sockets
We had Wylex plugs in our 1930s house in Lancaster. It had radial wiring so presumably those sockets had just been used to replace older ones for some reason. My parents bought it in 1959 and the previous owner bought it new.
