Default Forum Timing Anomaly?

Over the last few days I have noticed a strange timing anomaly on the Homebrew Equipment (possible others too?) Page under the "Last Post" column. On different visits even on the same day the times can be an hour different. For example, the P.E. 500W Amplifier last comment by RadioWrangler will either show up as 9:47pm or 10:47pm.
I have made a screen-shot of both situations to eliminate the possibility of me hallucinating, and also verified my PC's time display as being correct on both occasions.
Not a major issue, but just reporting it in case it is indicative of a wider issue with your server(s).
Cheers
Chris

I wonder whether something is causing a dithering between GMT and BST?

I am not sure but I think I've noticed a similar thing depending on whether you're logged in or not.

If you're not logged in then the forum software will probably datestamp posts relative to GMT. This will be correct for the UK in winter, but may look wrong now DST is in force.

Guest visitors in other timezones will see more extreme anomalies..

Paul is correct, the server runs on UTC (which is the same as GMT throughout the year), and if you are not logged in the forum software doesn't know where you are so defaults to that.

However I have changed an option in the system which should allow for BST for guests.

The timezone you have set in "User CP" - "Edit Options" is what it uses when you are logged in.
