Dial Glass Needed
Good day.
Is there any chance of someone having the artwork of a Murphy TU 198 dial gauge? https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/murphy...10tu19811.html |

Re: Dial Glass Needed
A happy ending! I found the right people. A person to do the artwork and printers to print the reversible sticker for the new dial glass. The colours couldn't be matched, but I'm pleased and relieved at the result. Pics in sequence of events. After recapping, all seemed well, but no reception. Injecting an RF signal into grid 4 of UCH42 to simulate the local oscillator, I managed to tune into local channels on MW. Replacing the valve was the solution. I'm not sure what the fault in the valve is, but maybe some learned members could hazard a guess?

Close enough for government work.
A nice result! David
