Default Double valve special triode info needed / wanted

Hello my good people and wonderful friends,

Would any of you fantastic persons know of a valve/tube that is an ecc83 inside and an ecc81 or ecc82 combination style valve, all included in the same glass bulb.

Please help me out as I know there is something or someone out there that fits my invisioned circuit plan.

Thank You

Your's Truely,
Tritone.

The 12DW7 contained one 12AU7 (=ECC82) triode and one 12AX7 (=ECC83) one https://frank.pocnet.net/sheets/127/1/12DW7.pdf. JJ still make them, labelled ECC832 https://www.jj-electronic.com/en/ecc832-12dw7.

Cheers,

GJ

6K11/6Q11 contains two 12AX7 triodes and a 12AU7 triode.
6U10 contains two 12AU7 triodes and a 12AX7 triode.

The 6CY7 also contains 2 triodes with different characteristcs, however I'm not sure how close they are to ECC81, 82, 83.

One triode section of the 6CY7 can be used as a voltage amplifier (its amplification factor is 68). The other triode section is not comparable to ECC81, 82, 83 since it was designed to pass relatively large currents (around 35 mA).

There are quite a few valves called "Twin triode, dissimilar sections", in any data book. They come in both noval ( 9 pin ) and octal. Most of them were intended for B/W TV service as the oscillator and output of vertical scanning sections of the picture. A lot of them are highly useful in audio, and in a few cases, small regulators for power supply service. I have probably five or six different valves that come into this category.

6CM7
6CS7
6CY7
6DE7
6DN7
6DR7
6EA7
6EM7
6EW7
to name a few

A copy of 'Tube Lore 2 by Lud Sibley" will give you dozens of tubes with what you are looking for.
Expensive- yes, but SO worth it.
It has fantastic information in it.

I put "Tube Lore" and "Sibley" in Bookfinder and it found me many copies of the first edition, but Tube Lore II only via Amazon US, which then told me "This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location."

Does it have to be a B9A envelope??

If not then look at the early 1960s Compactron tubes made by General Electric in the US, intended for TV applications.

They did some triple triode versions, easy to accommodate when you have a 12 pin Base.

That is so much amazing info and provision of knowledge from all of you

It keeps my circuit on the board down to a minimal,

I am driving a 'heavy so called load' right down to it's boots and it needs that combo.

Thanks my Friends.

There are missing answers to an unasked question.

It's one thing to be aware of all these relatively unusual valves, but would they use one in something they were making? By their very unusual-ness they could be more of a pain to find replacements for, should it be necessary, than the pain of using two separate mainstream valves.

Sure the mainstream valves would give you a couple of triodes left over, but could they be exploited in other areas?

Just chucking a barrowload of clogs into the machine...
