Unusual crimp tags.
Does anyone recognise these crimps or know their proper name or part number ? I think they're made by AMP but that's a guess! They're designed to push on to vertical studs mounted on a circuit board.
I did ask this question on the 'Parts Wanted' thread but no joy there. Thankyou. |

Re: Unusual crimp tags.
I don't know what they are called but they were the standard way to connect the 'tinsel' flexible handset cordage to the internals of 70s/80s military Clansman microphones/headsets/pressel-boxes.

Thankyou G6, well spotted. The cable in the picture is an Amplivox/Racal product but not from the Clansman range.

Re: Unusual crimp tags.
I've come across them for wire to board terminations, but I can't remember where, the "pins" on the boards have grooves in them to match the circlips.
