I have dismantled IBM style keyboards before but I'm nervous about doing the same with the chiclet keyboard. In particular, I understand that the key tops are a push fit on to the plungers and that a plunger can break leaving the lug embedded in the back of the key top. Not a happy thought. All this presupposes that I decide to risk Retr0brighting the keys in the first place. Perhaps I should just content myself with having a working PET although it might be fun to have some programmes/games to run on it.

All that cadnium plated steel! Brings back memories... I never understood why they put all those dimples in it, but I've seen that on several devices of the period so there must have been a good reason...

This page has a number of programs in TAP or WAV format. All you need to do is to download the WAV ones, use your PC to record them to tape and play them into your PET. I don't know what ROM versions they are for, but I guess its worth an experiment.
