My Woolworths FM (also DAB-capable) radio was showing an RDS-derived station ident of " ONDAANRO " when I went into the workshop earlier; I'd left it tuned to 106.0 MHz but internet searching hasn't yielded anything I wasn't around to listen so can't say what language etc.

Must try harder ... especially since I'd recently cleaned/overhauled the Fuba Stereo 8 antenna!

More strong FM SpE DX this afternoon - Spanish language. Indeed there was Spanish language SpE yesterday, but not as strong.

I heard some more FM DX signals up to around 104 MHz this afternoon, continuing past seven this evening. Arabic speaking stations were pretty strong at times, although most stations were Spanish language broadcasts. I thought I heard the word Canarias on one station.

There are some relatively strong French-language DX signals being received between around 90 to 94 MHz at the moment. It seems that the programme is about French speaking African nations.

I've been listening out on occasion over the last few days and have not heard anything. However this morning I may be receiving weak SpE - but not confirmed.

Very strong Sporadic E here now, with ES Radio locking RDS on 88.7. Lots of other unidentified signals too.

Thanks for the alert ! I have just heard two Polish stations on 87.7 and 88.3 MHz. There's also a German station mixed up with others on 91.5 MHz. I've now deployed my Teac CR-H255 for a direct frequency readout. No RDS readable so far, but the stereo indicator is flashing occasionally.

Weak Spanish stations heard this lunchtime. I could make out the words Granada and Andalusia.

Some moderately strong signals are being received from Italy and Croatia at present. The Croatian station is on around 90 MHz and is Identifying as Hrvatski Radio.

No Band II SpE for me for the last few days but the high pressure building over the UK has brought in some Tropo. I reckon I've heard German on 87.6 Mc/s as well as some distant UK signals and possibly one in Gaelic from Ireland on 87.5 Mc/s.

UHF TV has interference here, suspect DX is the reason. Digital just breaks up when you used to see ghosts in the picture...

Not much in the way of Tropo this morning for me but there is some Italian language programming on 87.6 Mc/s as I type.

The Sp.E is back on 28MHz - lunchtime today I was working plenty of stations on the Baltic coast [Poland/Germany] at massive signal-levels.

I was also able to listen to the RSGB News on 145.525MHz broadcast from near Bedford, which is distinctly atypical, and worked several Welsh stations on 2M FM too, which is again atypical considering I was only running 2.5 Watts to a vertical.
