Default Ekco TRG249

Hello all, I hope I'm in the right place here.

There's an auction tomorrow for an Ekco Auto-Radiogram Model TRG249, and I just want to ask does anyone have an idea of what I should expect to pay?
It looks in perfect condition, even with original product leaflets (though I'm unsure if it's in working order).
I've been searching on the web, but I can't get an idea of prices, I just don't want to pay over the odds!

Thank you in advance for any information

Not model I've ever heard of, only one other mention in the forums as far as I can see.

Any chance of some pictures?

It could be an Irish model, though I don't think Ekco had a subsidiary in the Republic.

50 euros? I've no idea what the market is like in Ireland.

It could be worth more if in absolutely pristine condition.

If you plan to use this radiogram, you should be aware that it will need work. As a minimum some capacitors will need changing, and the record cartridge will probably be bad. The record deck may also need a stripdown and relube. If you have to pay a professional to do this, it's likely to cost significantly more than the hammer price at the auction.

Thanks for the advice, I do intend to use it (if I buy), but I'd prefer to do any fixing up myself, I suppose I'll cap it at €80 if it gets that high, it seems difficult to get much info on this one, maybe it's a model that didn't sell well!

This is the photo, I didn't post it at first in case it was against the rules!

It doesn't look like any service information is available for this player, unless of course there's some with it?

I've spotted the apple, so there's no need to mention it again!

Clearly not the same set but internally it may be similar.

As a minimum, it will need a need a new cartridge to allow you to play all types of records. Certain key components are highly likely to need replacing. Also it has no FM waveband, so you can only receive the "local" AM signals and some weak continentals. The quite complex Garrard autohanger is liable to need re-lubing and adjusting. This Tablegram comes from 1955 so it's 66 years old. You will need a fair amount of electrical and mechanicals skills to work on this.
