I agree with post # 1, and with post #2. Now no interest to me.
Some of the origional audio projects using discrete components, were very often far far better than what was on offer from the commercial producers. Their test equipment was also very good, but as mentioned involved sourcing bits from Europe ( yes, parts were not easily available here either ). I have not bought the magazine for at least 20 years.

Yup. Along with WW/EW and Television Magazine, Elektor was my 'look forward to..' reading every month. Always something innovative and often with a bias toward radio. Then it started swinging toward microprocessors then PICS and the pages filled up with code listings. Not for me.
