Following yesterday’s post I can officially present the launch of the hybrid Grundig TK20-23
. I have done quite a lot of work on the TK20 which I picked up for a £1 at our local CBF & having found a TK23 and bought it for spares for a friend, I was given back just the chassis which I managed to strip off the outer cover and with some patience I restored the TK20 and am very pleased with what came out of the whole exercise. I decided to use the handle from the TK23 in order to use the already existing holes in the fabric of the TK23. It’s also a better handle I think. Hope this gives some ideas for future restorations perhaps.
