That is indeed an impressive Belling & Lee double 9. I like the fact that B&L used a larger spacing for their double 9 el versions compared to their double 6s. This means that you actually do get a gain improvement over a single 9 - unlike other manufacturers who kept the same spacing for their double designs which resulted in a significant inter-element detuning - since the doubles were merely two unaltered singles side-by-side.
