There is a 500K resistor on each side of the tweeter with a 0.01uF capacitor across them. These have risen in value to about 710K, would it be worth replacing these to improve the sound output and quality.

Well..The Bush sounds great without the tweeters even working. Usually people don't even know they are off. But when they are working you get more clarity on the top end. It doesn't blast out but you will notice the difference depending of your hearing range. If you have lost upper frequencies in your hearing you might not notice much difference. Using a different cartridge can make quite a difference to the range of sound too.
The resistors: its not a huge deal just replacing resistors that that have changed over time is it. I replaced all those in my players that had changed from spec.
