Default Re: Bitscope, a marvellous device.

From a list of all the Bitscope models: http://my.bitscope.com/store/?p=list&a=list&i=cat+0
I later discovered there's also a larger BS10 100MHz 10ch one, but around £180 direct / doesn't seem stocked by UK distributors. And still only 40MSPS, so not as high as 100MSPS Digilent Discovery.

However the smallest Bitscope Micro BS05(U=bare unit / P=with dual BNC breakout board), whilst being £110 / £125 direct and from some UK distributors was listed from £70 at Pimoroni (although out of stock).

But Farnell / CPC sell the Bitscope micro BS05(U/P) even cheaper, with for some reason the BS05P package (with dual BNC breakout board) actually several pounds cheaper than just the BS05U unit! - Farnell are selling both for < £50 inc. VAT

And CPC sell the Bitscope Micro BS05P for just under £40 inc. VAT (free delivery on orders over £17.50+VAT)
https://cpc.farnell.com/bitscope/bs0..._PFProdSubstit

Although most currently out of stock, but backorders available in next few weeks for their actually lower-priced BS05P package.

I did note some mixed reviews on Farnell / CPC, where it seems they drop down from 10bit to 8bit resolution at higher speeds, so a bit noisy. And there maybe some issues with latest version of Windows 10 and their software not being updated for last 5years.

Plus, the free open-source sigroc software doesn't support the BS05, although they do list plans to support the BS10: https://sigrok.org/wiki/Supported_hardware

There are also some similarly spec'd USB 2Ch 'scope-only units, for around £50 as well - but supplied with probes - from here etc.: https://www.banggood.com/Hantek-6022...r_warehouse=CN
- But only 8bit, and not sure how good their software / support etc. would be
