I'm not sure that the finish on the Kenwoods is very close the the Hammerite paints; I'm almost tempted to say that the speckled finish on the Kenwoods is a Kenwood speciality and might be quite hard to reproduce, or to overcoat if it hasn't been rubbed down well. I suspect that Mr Halford's car paint shelves will offer some attractive alternatives .

The label removers smelling of citrus fruit are the old cleaners made of terpenes. They were all the rage for a while in the mid-1990's, but the strong smell meant that they did not fit in well for workplace applications.
