I'm not sure that the finish on the Kenwoods is very close the the Hammerite paints; I'm almost tempted to say that the speckled finish on the Kenwoods is a Kenwood speciality and might be quite hard to reproduce, or to overcoat if it hasn't been rubbed down well. I suspect that Mr Halford's car paint shelves will offer some attractive alternatives

The label removers smelling of citrus fruit are the old cleaners made of terpenes. They were all the rage for a while in the mid-1990's, but the strong smell meant that they did not fit in well for workplace applications.
