If you were using an original SOC VDU they would be a minor handicap (although you could still use a SOC VDU with 6116 memory mapped into 0200-07FF). As we know, Karen kindly provided a 'proper' NRDS signal right from the beginning so they should work OK with OrtonView.

SC/MP I unfortunately can't help you with as I have exactly as many of those as I have MK14s, no spares.
Thanks Sirius, if I get near that point I'll message you. I got a set of resistors this morning and thought I should start soldering stuff into the PCB you sent me, given that they're there, maybe I'll keep my eye out for a SC/MP chip. You can never have too many, right?
