I am in the fortunate position in that the executor of my estate is a long-standing and trustworthy friend, who is a licensed amateur of many years. He is also an ex bank employee who knows what is the realiatic worth of that which is worth saving.
We agree that not many people outside of the vintage radio fraternity know or care much for old radios or T.V.s Therefore the majority will end up being "disposed" of, but the worthwhile stuff will be given a second chance, being offered for sale. (Proceeds to charity along with the rest of the estate).
