Hi Gents, I have acquired the above radio, these were renowned for their front end sensitivity, unfortunately this one is deaf, -97dBm before I hear my tone from the 2022E.
I have ordered some 3SK73 dual gate MOSFETs, just in case
.
My question is, do these radios suffer from the 'furred' up ceramic filters like some of the Yaesu products that exhibit the same deafness symptoms. I will going out to the workshop later, got a chippie in at the moment fitting me a loft ladder.

As per usual, all and any advice greatly appreciated.
