Interesting to see that article proposing the "zeppelin" feed to the end of a half-wave element. Les Moxon's "HF Antennas for All Locations" has some less than complimentary things to say about the Zeppelin; basically it "cannot work" and only manages to achieve radiation by virtue of stray capacitance from the open leg to ground....
