Re: Vintage Radios, TVs etc in films and on TV (NOT ANACHRONISMS)
Watching an old (1980s) episode of 'Cheers' this morning, much of the plot centred around a rather grand looking house.
In the final scene of the episode a more distant shot revealed a mast-mounted quarter wave ground plane for CB (9' vertical, three 9' horizontal radials) looming over the house, a indication of how normal / essential CB radio was considered to be at the time, when even someone with a nice posh house thought nothing of having such ungainly looking metalwork bolted to it.
