1966 Westinghouse "Multimatic tube TV set
 

A few mounths ago I acquiared a vintage 1966 Westingouse television set. I remember that I powered it up and it worked fine. Do you know where I can find the model number?

Under normal circumstances on the back, or on the chassis after removing the back.
It is possible that your set is assambled in Europe.
I have no idea if you have US-companies in Greece, but in Italy and
Spain US sets were sold in bigger numbers (and made).

US sets like these were never sold in the UK.

Reminds me of an early mitsubishi tv I used to have in the 80's a C200 if memory serves apparently they froze it to test it's reliability and even dropped it it from a low height, lasted me 4 years then I sold it to my neighbour. The control layout and square box style is just the same

System M (525 line) tvs are often found in areas where the US forces were based, where
AFRTS usually used US broadcast standards.

This need not be a system M set. As mr. Dalek says, American brands often had branches or licencees in southern Europe (mostly Italy and Spain, but even Belgium had one or more, and lets not forget ITT which had several European branches from the UK to Spain and/or Portugal).

Since I'm a newbie on black and white sets, System M is the predecessor to the colour NTSC system used in the US?
By the way, as I said above, this set has a European (2 round pin) power plug and works on 220 volts. I don't know if it was modified to work outside the US.

It was likely made in Europe for use in Europe.

System M is the underlying black&white system to which NTSC color was added, in the same way that PAL was added to system B/G (Western Europe) or I (UK).

The French system is L and the Russian is D/K right?
