Can I ask what’s the general view on wax capacitors in transistor radios. Is it best to leave them , or are they likely to give trouble now or in the future. The radio works well apart from a very small section on the tuning dial on MW where itS oscillating .
Any tips appreciated Andy

I can see a dreaded Plessey (red/black) cap in there in the front which I would normally change on sight - but if the radio is working OK and you can get your favourite stations, then leave well alone for the time being....
