I loved Motown in my younger days ! What a body of work Mr Strong produced

There is something just magical about Motown… it was talented writers, musicians, vocalists, producers and engineers – the whole is substantially greater than the sum of the parts.

What a fascinating link - specially the bit about cutting at half-speed so you could drive the cutter harder and so get more cutting-depth/amplitude without overheating the cutter.

Motown always understood how to give you the most Decibels for your money!
