A transformer offer has been taken out of this circuit and connected to the S&PW thread instead.

If the O/P transformer primary is O/C before writing it off have a look at the tags and the wires going to them to see if there is just a bad connection.

And Lady Margaret is working again! Thanks to new transformer. Primary of the O/P was the culprit. This is wonderful. Million thanks to all who helped!
