Default TES Field Strength Meter MC 661C Value

This item came into my possession today and as I don't have a use for it I'm wondering what price I should ask should I decide to sell and would there be much interest in it?

It's untested but I've cleaned it up a bit and removed the old 23 pence battery which has leaked though the battery compartment is clean.

The thick hide case is in good condition except one of the catches on the outside pocket is broken.

No leads or instructions but the original frequency chart is present - this was reversed with hand written notes showing.

So Gents what's it worth as is?

One of them was sold on the club stand at our radio rally a year or two ago. I think we got £5 for it eventually (after starting off in the morning with it priced at at a too-hopeful £10).

I have what may be an earlier version of this - the MC16 - albeit the maker's name being PreStel ... also of Milan.

I got mine for £2 at an amateur radio rally bring&buy a couple of years ago.

Best wishes
Guy

(P.S. - apologies for the uncommanded picture rotation ... on this occasion, I can't blame the smartphone as it was uploaded from my Win7 PC)

Could be useful if you ever need to point a VHF/DAB/TV aerial sometime. Looks nice but not worth a fortune. Have a look inside and check it's not full of AF11Xs.

I smiled at the picture of a genuinely flat "flat" battery (and the "Piles Wonder" label). I know they're just a make of French battery but .........
