Sailor 46T
What does the T in 46T stand for?
I am sure I read somewhere once that the 46T was primarily a DF receiver but had some "secret"(?) qrp transmitting function.... I restored one years ago and I seem to remember reading this in the manual but there certainly wasnt any transmit facility on my 46T. anyone? T |

Re: Sailor 46T
Hi,
There wasn't any TX facility on mine either. But I do remember seeing a 66 receiver (not sure if a 66T or 66TS) factory fitted with a low power TX into one of the side panels and clearly marked so not secret! I seem to recollect that it was a single crystal controlled channel for 2182kc/s Kind regards Dave Last edited by Dave757; 18th Feb 2017 at 12:37 am. Reason: omission |

Re: Sailor 46T
that sounds like it. I am sure I remember seeing one of those old 60s or 70s sales brochures with a funny little fist mic hanging off the side of something that looked like a 46T or 66T.
cant find it now though. |

Hi Cecil
That's a very nice combination. I have found the set that Crestavega was thinking of, - the 96D low power TX built into the 66TS Receiver. Kind regards Dave |

Re: Sailor 46T
66ts/96d - that is exactly the radio I was thinking of, thanks for that. I wonder what target market was for that little adornment?
