Default Rogers VHF "Junior" tuner, c1957

Does anyone have circuit data for this tuner? It came up for discusssion here a couple of years ago under domestic radios, but at that time no data was forthcoming, although the posts were helpful.

I may be completely wrong, but was this the same/similar circuit as the "Radio Constructor", 5 valve, Denco Tuner or "Feeder Unit" as they were called? Using Denco coils of course.

I haven’t seen anything more on the Rogers RD Junior FM tuner circuitry than was covered here: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ad.php?t=94379.

Judging by the pertinent Hi Fi Year Book (HFYB) entries, the RD Junior was Rogers’ first FM tuner. It was previewed in the 1956 issue, then appeared in the 1957 through 1960 issues, replaced in the 1961 issue by the RD Junior Mk II. It had been joined by the RD Junior Switched FM tuner in HFYB 1959.

Evidently there were some changes along the way. In its original form, it had a built in LT power supply but required an external HT supply. By HFYB 1958 it was available unpowered, requiring external HT and LT supplies, or self-powered. By HFYB 1961 it was self-powered only. Throughout, it was fitted with AFC, a centre-zero tuning meter being optional.

Synchrodyne, you quite rightly mentioned in that previous thread that what's needed here is a book on tuners, comparable to Audio! Audio! Well, I can't think of anyone better or more informed than you to provide it....
