Re: Bell Set ??
It's what the label says, a Bellset 50C, handy if you want the phone to ring in a central location: http://www.britishtelephones.com/bellst50.htm

Re: Bell Set ??
Thanks ,mate- just interest, as I collected a few of these /other items taking out old BT systems .Problem is that it's that long ago since I had anything to do with BT /GPO numbering that I can't read it any more.

Re: Bell Set ??
The bell motors could be used to upgrade earlier low impedance phones, the resistor mod is only a bodge.

Re: Bell Set ??
Hi,
As an aside (and not wanting to take the thread too off topic) the presence of the 1A1 thermistor and the strap to the terminal marked 'E' suggests that this particular bell was at one time used as an extension bell on a party (shared service) line, or possibly as an extension bell to the "B" end of an external plan 105/107 arrangement. Re: Bell Set ??
AndiiT- can't remember where I got this one, but most likely from an old BT system being on an analogue extension.
