Roberts R800 Tuning Cord
Hi,
I am re-assembling a Roberts R800 and I need to re-fit the tuning cord. I purchased the service sheet from the forum some time ago. Whilst I can see a diagram giving some detail on the tuning cord, I do have a few questions. Should the tuning capacitor be fully clock wise when re-fitting the cord, and at which end of the scale should the pointer be ? (Yes, I should have taken some pictures). All comments and advice gratefully received, Thank you. |

Re: Roberts R800 Tuning Cord
Normally you string with the capacitor at maximum (fully meshed) with the pointer at the low frequency (longest wavelength) end of the scale.
