Default Roberts R800 Tuning Cord

Hi,

I am re-assembling a Roberts R800 and I need to re-fit the tuning cord. I purchased the service sheet from the forum some time ago. Whilst I can see a diagram giving some detail on the tuning cord, I do have a few questions.

Should the tuning capacitor be fully clock wise when re-fitting the cord, and at which end of the scale should the pointer be ? (Yes, I should have taken some pictures).

All comments and advice gratefully received, Thank you.

Normally you string with the capacitor at maximum (fully meshed) with the pointer at the low frequency (longest wavelength) end of the scale.
