What is a T1235H-L6??
This is a 3-terminal device on a Numatic 208428 Speed Control PCB fitted to a Henry Vacuum Cleaner. In-circuit it reads about 32 ohms both ways round between it's two outer terminals. Is it a Thyristor, Triac, Transistor(Bipolar or FET) or some other type of device? I'll probably replace the control PCB anyway, as these are available for less than £20, but am curious as to the type of device it uses.

Re: What is a T1235H-L6??
If this is a Triac, it reads 32 ohms each way between one anode and the gate - unless the reading is due to other components on the PCB (all SMD, btw) this cannot be right, surely?

Triac, T135H-6 mentioned in here for vacuum cleaners:

Re: What is a T1235H-L6??
A very useful document, Lawrence. Many thanks. Now I know that the T1235H is a Triac.
