The minimum speed may be a touch low but otherwise it sounds fine.

I concur with Refugee, I have very recent reference as I have just made some bread using mine.

Thanks guys! I reopened the Kenwood and noticed that the screws holding the top plate down on the armatures were all really loose. When tightened and adjusted so you can still turn the shaft, it was fine! The sound is a lot smoother and I managed to get the speed just right
