I'd call that a "sensible" price - about the same as I got for my spare one a couple of years ago.
They usually need a complete re-cap (electrolytics and waxies) and various resistors replacing, after which they will give good service. George (forum member GMB) has kindly placed a huge amount of ops and service information for these on his webspace, which is a great help to users and restorers. Bear in mind that they don't do actual measurements, but are probably the best "go / no-go" testers available. |
