Default Assorted items FOC.

An eclectic mix of stuff which may or (more likely) may not be of interest and all for cost of carriage.

1. Voltage selector tap of unknown origin. Appears to contain a fuse.

2. Instruction manual for Garrard Zero 100SB.

3. Crystal Calibrator from a Marconi TF1066B/6. No guarantees but working when removed.

4. Handset and cradle. Origin unknown but something about it says “marine” to me (possibly the way it which it clips so firmly into the cradle). No guarantees again but pressel, cradle switch and mic & earpiece capsules (both moving coil) all appear to work.

5. 1mA moving coil meter. Right hand zero, scaled 0-54 inches.

6. 25 kilo ohm wirewound pot . Very large - suitable for a homemade bridge?. Back missing but no visible damage.

7. Multi pin plug – ex Storno 600 series VHF transceiver from (iirc) a London bus.

8. Wireless World 1949 (less the May and August issues and all covers) in a Loxon binder.

9. Elac speaker. Frame diameter 8”, DC resistance 3 ohms. Sounds ok when fed with a “pure tone” but it came from an ex am-dram speaker cabinet so it may have had a hard life.

I’ll find out the exact cost when I send the items but, as a guide, the first 2 items should be about £1 and the remained around £3. If there’s more than one taker for any items I’ll draw names from a hat.

Hugh

Hugh, does the Garrard instruction book contain a mounting-board cutting template? If so, I'd like to be considered for it please.

Hello Bryan, I can't remember seeing a cutting template but I'll have a look tomorrow (if the fog clears enough for me to find the workshop!).

Oops, I forgot to include a picture of the plug and to say that I'm happy for collection by FCS if that works for anyone (I'm in the Wild West of Gloucestershire but travel regularly to Gloucester & Cheltenham and less regularly to Monmouth, Chepstow and Stourport on Severn).

I'd like to claim the Wireless World collection please. I'm relatively local to you so could collect if that's ok?

Ok, that seems to be everything except for items 1, 7 and 8 accounted for, with everyone getting what they requested. I'll contact everyone shortly by PM to discuss postage, collection or delivery.

Hugh
