Default Who was "Radiotrician"?

Many Forum members will know the Bernards series of slim technical books. In the British Library catalogue, "Radiotrician" is listed as author of around 30 of the Bernards books in the 1940s. None of the books I have been able to inspect gives any clue as to who he was. Back in the 1930s and 40s, it was quite common for authors, both of technical books and in the radio periodicals, to be hidden behind a pseudonym, or to be billed as "Special Correspondent" or similar, or to be entirely anonymous. So was "Radiotrician" one author or was he several authors? There may have been good reasons at the time for anonymity or pseudonyms, but it is frustrating for the future researcher! Anybody know anything?

Les.
