Which valves in which radio?
Does any one know of a site where one can look up which sets used a specific valve? I have searched in vain.

http://www.radiomuseum.org/
You will see a dialog box half-way down the screen entitled: Search for models by Tubes/Valves/Semiconductors |

Much appreciated Colin. I knew that there was somewhere because it had been mentioned before but could not find it.

Re: Which valves in which radio?
Hi Mark, you could often find lists from the major manufacturers (Mullard, Cossor etc) of valves that were used in particular sets.
I've gathered a few of these from bookshops, swapmeets etc that are from the 50's or earlier and they are pretty useful. After that date valve numbers were a bit more standardised and they ceased to be issued. Ed |
