Default Which valves in which radio?

Does any one know of a site where one can look up which sets used a specific valve? I have searched in vain.

http://www.radiomuseum.org/

You will see a dialog box half-way down the screen entitled:

Search for models by Tubes/Valves/Semiconductors

Much appreciated Colin. I knew that there was somewhere because it had been mentioned before but could not find it.

Hi Mark, you could often find lists from the major manufacturers (Mullard, Cossor etc) of valves that were used in particular sets.
I've gathered a few of these from bookshops, swapmeets etc that are from the 50's or earlier and they are pretty useful.
After that date valve numbers were a bit more standardised and they ceased to be issued.
