anyone know where to buy the vinyl I think it's called rexine covering for 1960s record players bob

There are a few suppliers mentioned in this post. I am proposing to do the same to an RP myself but I haven't tried any of these yet.

Rexine, Vynide, Naugahyde - they're all variants of the same.
If you have a furniture-reupholsterer locally, they often have offcuts. Or visit your local "Benny & Jerrys" faux-period-diner and ask who they use to fix the tears in their supposedly-1950s upholstery? The classic-car world also has a line in this sort of stuff. |

I have used Ratchford too, good quality stuff. For a very posh black finish leather is good, look for leather trousers in charity shops.
