leicester_police_property_disposals often sell NOS video and audio cassettes on Ebay at very reasonable prices.

They occasionally dispose of items of test equipment as well; I bought very nice little Hameg Scope and and Newlec digital multimeter earlier this year; the kit was in superb nick, with current cal stickers. All items of mains-operated kit are functionally checked and PAT tested prior to disposal, so you even get the mains leads!
