Default Marconiphone Ser No 14836

Hi, looking for some information on this Marconiphone I found in the loft.

Its series number is 1/24 14836. It's pale blue dirty from dust but in good condition

It has an ex. Speaker at the rear of cabinet, rev counter, magic eye, gram/radio, mic etc. I've been unable to find one like it on google.

Please see pictures
Ideally looking for a date and worth
Also any takers please let me know from the Whitstable area.

Regards
Megan

A picture of what's under the lid would be useful.

Looks like a Marconiphone TR2 tape recorder:

Maybe not many around but probably not worth a lot.

Lawrence.

Makes you wonder why on earth they marketed two such similar machines at the same time...

Uses a Collaro Studio deck, i concur with Graham, made around 1960

Probably worth around £10 - £20.
