Default Advice on locating parts for VCRs.

Hi Guys

Was hoping for some advice on the best place to buy drive belts, timing belts and pinch rollers for classic VCR players (Betamax and V2000.)

Also I have been told that Rubber Restore can be used on some pinch rollers that just want cleaning/sprucing up but not sure where to get it. Only stuff I can find is for cars.

Any help would be fantastic. Thanks.

Alan

There are members here who could possibly sell you parts, as well as various parts outlets like Charles Hyde & Sons (CHS). There are also other enthusiasts (such as Colin McCormick for Sanyo Betamax decks) out there who have spare parts, as well as getting working parts from other examples of the same, or similar, models of machine from scrap machines.
