Default A nice collection of vintage valves/tubes.

See here:

http://www.museumoftechnology.org.uk/objects/valves.php

Some may think these 'esoteric' but they're all part of history.

[They should have an 807, an 813, a 4CX250B and a set of the QQV-series dual-tetrodes to make their collection complete]

I must admit that since posting about this museum about a year ago, I still have not visited it yet. On my "to do" list, it is fairly local as well.
I am sure I can find a few valve exhibits to donate.

This kit radio looks amazingly out of date for 1966:

I think you are right to question the date because by 1964 Clyne Radio had amalgamated with Sterne Radio and Premier Radio and were trading with a different letter head from that shown in the photo.

Admittedly Clyne Radio was still advertising kit radios of similar ilk in 1963.

I have a RK28A in my collection, the equivalent of the 803, a fairly large valve.
