EF86 valve phono preamp.
 
Hi, has anyone got a circuit diagram for a EF86 Ria phono preamp ? Any advice would be gratefully received ;D.

Hi,
If you're starting from scratch, personally, I wouldnt use an EF86 as I find them a bit noisy compared with an ECC83 design. There are some circuits here:-

Mullard did an EF86 design but I can't find it just now, sorry.

Hi

Here's a link to the Mullard 2 valve pre-amp on Maurice Woodhead's site. This uses two EF86's and has the required equalisation for a pickup.

The famous Quad 22 preamp used EF86
